We were at Mountain Home AFB from 1994-1998. While we were stationed there I met a young man, Alan Beach. We played golf and fished together. I have tried on several occasion to find either him or his wife Sadina thru various social medias. I recently found out that Sadina was stationed here so I made contact with her and Alan contacted me to go fishing. I absolutely could not believe it. To make it even better, Alan has a bass boat. We went to Roosevelt Lake and we had such a great time fishing and catching up on times past. Alan caught 2 bass while I wasn't so lucky. I went fishing and not catching but nonetheless, I had a wonderful time.
Roosevelt Lake is a long lake (I guess, haven't been fishing in YEARS). Lots of nooks and crannies, miles and miles of shoreline. What a great time I had with Alan. I am so looking forward to doing more fishing with him.
Pat and I were invited to his house this past Saturday evening for ribs. OMG. Best ribs I have had in a long time. It was so good seeing Sadina again after so many years. They have a little Alan that goes by the name of Nathan. What a joy to meet him and play with him. I cannot wait for Nathan to meet Ruffin. They are a couple months apart in age and both are such handsome lil guys. More later.

Nice Cruise
Pat and I decided to use our gift card to Texas Road House so we jumped on the Harley and went to the Arrowhead location. Enjoyed a great meal together and then we decided to cruise the Bell Road to I10 loop.
The White Tanks displayed their spring attire. On the north and west sides we noticed the hills were green. We hadn't riden the loop in the spring so this was the first time seeing the green. Spring in the desert does produce new life but along with the new life comes intense allergies. The good, bad and the ugly.
We stopped in Buckeye to fill up the bike, the computer said we had 25 miles to empty so we could have made it home but no need to chance it. Took MC 85 home and wow, there was a noticible temp difference between all the concrete and the farm land.
We ended up with a total of 2 1/2 hour ride. The ride from arrowhead back home was approx 2 hours but it sure was great feeling the wind and the freedom that comes from cruising on a Harley.
Note: The above picture was taken during Anthem, Az's Veteran Day Parade 2012. Pat is such a pretty Vet.
